The printed word

Print magazines are sadly falling away and whilst I use online sources myself - and there are many excellent online music magazines - there is a special place in my heart for the printed word.

So I was delighted to get a featured article in RnR magazine earlier in the year. I am a subscriber to the magazine and it's an important voice within the roots/folk/americana music scene in the UK. I spoke to Andrew Darlington and he asked me a lot about the Savage Pilgrims album. If you're able to subscribe and support RnR magazine, it comes highly recommended from me.

I also received a full page print review of Savage Pilgrims in the magazine Hi-Fi Plus. It was written by my friend Sean Hannam, a technology journalist and music blogger.  I think the analogue / tape aspect of how we recorded the album was a plus point for a magazine dedicated to hi fi. By the way that little graph of Squares at the bottom means I scored 9/10 for both Recording and Music.
